World House Music puts down payment on piano for Tanzania!
My Brothers and Sisters,
World House Music is proud to announce that on April 13, 2016, we sent a check of $6,000 to Wells Piano in St. Paul Minnesota. This is the first payment towards the purchase of a 7’2″ Hailun concert grand piano which will be sent to Tumaini University Makumira in Tanzania. This will be the first concert grand piano ever to reach Tanzania. In fact, it will be the first such piano to reach all of East Africa. Tanzania alone is twice the size of California!
We are still fund raising. All donations are tax deductible. Donations of any size are gratefully received. Perhaps you can contribute $15 or $25. Maybe you can sponsor a key. The piano has 88 keys. A gift of $200 covers the cost of a key and part of shipping the piano to Tanzania. Perhaps you can be a major donor of $1,000 or more. All donors may elect to be recognized in a Book of Gratitude to be housed on the Tumaini University campus. Donors of $1,000 or more may also elect to be recognized on a wall plaque at the University. No gift is too small. We look forward to your support.
